VILLA

GIULIA

We are so excited to spend our wedding weekend at Villa Giulia (pronounced Julia) with our favourite people! The villa will be exclusively ours for the entire weekend. We’re asking guests to contribute towards their accommodation costs, which are £200 per person.

The rest of the weekend is on us!

Previously a monastery, Villa Giulia was transformed into a hunting lodge by the Viceroy of Italy, Eugene of Beauharnais. When Napoleon Bonaparte fell waaaay back when, it became a property of Count Carlo Ferri from Fano, who is an ancestor of the current owners. He made it into a summer residence for his family with the name of ‘Casino San Francesco’.

His daughter, Giulia, however, was an absolute boss, and in 1892 she updated the property and renamed it after herself.

Today, it’s run by Anna, Niso and co, and has its own vineyard, olive grove and organic farm where they grow the vegetables used in their restaurant. It’s only 800 metres from the ocean, so it’s got the best of both with the rolling hills of Le Marche behind it, and some beautiful sea views from the terrace, too.
